Providing professional supervision and advice to several Experienced Social Workers and a Care Navigator. Providing a consultation service to professionals seeking safeguarding advice regarding safeguarding thresholds, referrals, section 42 enquiries and Mental Capacity Assessments.
To support Duty workers with triaging and reducing the number of inappropriate referrals into safeguarding team. Making the right onward referral decisions to the most appropriate agency as early as possible to improve service provision.

An understanding of risk, risk management and managing crisis presentation is essential, as it applies to substance use and complexity.
