We are recruiting an experienced Support Worker to join an Ofsted-registered residential home supporting seven non-verbal children and young people. The home currently supports a mixed household of four girls and three boys, with two young people requiring 2:1 support.
This role is ideal for someone with a QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent, who is passionate about making a positive impact in young people's lives.

What You'll Do

Support with daily routines, activities, education, and independent living skills
Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding practices
Minimum 1 year experience supporting children or young people with EBD or similar complex needs within a Childrens Home
Ideally hold a Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent (or working towards it)
Flexible availability to work a combination of the following shiftsincludign occassional weekends and sleep-ins
Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and trauma-informed care
