ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift. You will also support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessment, and liaising with GP's, district nursing teams and resident family members. Like everyone here, as a Residential Senior Care Assistant, you'll always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well playing your own part in creating an environment that's warm, welcoming and vibrant.
Shifts: This role is nights only
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Residential Senior Care Assistant. You will have previous experience in a residential care setting along with proven team leadership skills and the ability to make appropriate decisions to support the needs and wellbeing of our Residents. We're looking for people who are warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support. You'll have the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing training opportunities, so there's no limit to how far you can go with us. Many of our Senior Carer Assistants progress into Care Practitioners, Care Community Leads or on to nursing pathways.

Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Care at Home Worker to join our team working within our Housing Development at Glen Iosal, Breadalbane Street Tobermory, Isle of Mull Argyll and Bute. It s an excellent job opportunity for those who live in and around Tobermory and the island of Mull.
You ll support older and vulnerable tenants to live independently in their own homes, supervising Care at Home Workers while also delivering hands?on care. Duties include personal care, medication support, light housework, record keeping and providing compassionate, person?centred support in line with individual care plans. Shifts are worked on a rota basis between 7am and 10pm, including weekdays and weekends.

About you
You ll be caring, approachable and committed to making a positive difference. Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided. Strong communication skills, basic IT skills and a willingness to work towards (or hold) an SVQ in Health & Social Care are important.
