Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Care at Home Worker to join our team working within our Housing Development at Glen Iosal, Breadalbane Street Tobermory, Isle of Mull Argyll and Bute. It s an excellent job opportunity for those who live in and around Tobermory and the island of Mull.

You ll support older and vulnerable tenants to live independently in their own homes, supervising Care at Home Workers while also delivering hands?on care. Duties include personal care, medication support, light housework, record keeping and providing compassionate, person?centred support in line with individual care plans. Shifts are worked on a rota basis between 7am and 10pm, including weekdays and weekends.

About the role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be working as part of the care team, recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents, conduct formal supervisions and appraisals, as well as, contributing to care planning and coaching support workers. We are currently looking for Home Care Assistants to provide care and support to tenants in their own homes at Oak Way House Extra Care Scheme.

We offer fixed contracted hours with shifts scheduled 4 weeks in advance. Shifts take place between 07:45 and 22:30, Monday to Sunday, with a requirement to work one weekend in two.

Main Purpose of the role:

• Demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding of vulnerable adults requirements and work within these guidelines at all times.
• To be aware of, and comply with, Bedford Citizens' Housing Association's Policies and Procedures.
• Ensure that interactions with customers are warm and professional and to any questions received from customers, referring to a Manager any questions which you are unable to answer.
