What You ll Be Doing

As a Community Support Worker, your role is vital to improving the quality of life of those you support. You ll provide personal care, assist with nutritional needs, administer medication, and offer companionship ensuring clients feel valued and cared for in their own homes. All care is delivered in accordance with each client's individual care plan, tailored to their needs.

What We re Looking For

• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence is essential, and we cover full travel expenses up to 45p per mile.
• A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.

This is a job where you really will be making a difference to people s lives. You ll be supporting autistic people with a variety of activities that they enjoy and encouraging independent living skills.

You ll find this is a rewarding job, which promises variety as no two days are ever the same. You will be positively supporting people by providing holistic support including personal care, medication administration, integration into the local community and managing their anxieties, which they may communicate through distressing behaviour.

No experience is necessary, so don't worry if you don't think you know enough about how to support adults with autism. Full training is given. We are looking for someone who has the right attitude, who shares our values and who we can work with to develop their skills.

If you have experience as a support worker, care assistant, nursery assistant, or personal care assistant or have worked in the NHS, health care or in social care, this position will be suited to you too.

Your Role

You'll provide person-centred care and support tailored to each individual's needs, including:

• Supporting clients with daily routines in their own homes
• Personal care (bathing, showering, continence care)
• Assisting with mobility and medication
• Preparing meals and light household tasks
• Promoting independence, dignity, and choice

This role is about more than tasks it's about building trust, offering companionship, and helping people live comfortably in their own homes.

Pay: 13.93 per hour + 44p mileage reimbursement

Hours Available

• Full-time

• Weekends

Shifts include:

• Morning: 7:00am - 2:30pm
• Evening: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
• Teas & Bed: 5:00pm - 11:00pm

Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and some weekends is required.
