Vivid Healthcare is currently recruiting experienced Band 5 A&E Nurses to work across busy Emergency Departments within leading NHS Trusts. Whether you're looking for full-time hours, flexible shifts around your current commitments, or long-term block bookings, we have opportunities to suit you.
What you'll be doingAs an A&E Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality emergency care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic and rewarding environment where no two shifts are the same.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning and delivering high-quality patient care.
- Responding quickly and effectively to emergency situations.
- Administering medication and treatments in line with Trust policies.
- Monitoring and documenting patient observations accurately.
- Supporting patients and their families during challenging situations.
- Working collaboratively with doctors, HCAs and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Maintaining excellent infection prevention and patient safety standards.
What we're looking for- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Minimum 6 months' recent NHS A&E experience.
- Confident working in a busy Emergency Department.
- Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise workload effectively.
- Right to work in the UK.
