Social Worker CIC, Children's Safeguarding and Family Support ServicesPay rate: £28.55ph UmbrellaHours: 37 hoursHybrid Arrangements: mixture of office and home basedDBS required: Enhanced DBS with Childrens Barred ListKey Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of children and families, undertaking assessments and developing effective care and support plans.- Lead on complex cases, making informed decisions around safeguarding, risk management, and child protection.- Prepare high-quality reports and provide evidence in court proceedings when required.- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, families, carers, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.- Work collaboratively with statutory, voluntary, and independent services to implement care plans and support family interventions.- Carry out timely and evidence-based assessments, reviewing progress and making necessary changes when positive outcomes are not being achieved.- Undertake preventative and early intervention work to reduce the need for children entering care.
