Salary: 13.00- 14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off (including sleep-ins/waking nights where required)

Build a Career That Changes Lives
We are looking for passionate, caring, and resilient Children's Residential Support Workers to join our brand-new 3-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children's home in Sale.

This is a unique opportunity to join a new organisation from the very beginning, helping to shape a positive culture and make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people. As we grow, there will be excellent opportunities for career progression into senior and leadership positions.

About the Role
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs, helping them to feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.

You will build positive relationships, encourage independence, promote education and life skills, and provide consistent support within a nurturing and therapeutic environment.

No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in creating positive experiences and helping young people achieve meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people.
Build trusting, positive relationships that promote stability and resilience.
Support young people to achieve their education, health, and personal development goals.
Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills.
Participate in activities, appointments, and community engagement.
Maintain accurate daily records and complete reports as required.
Work in partnership with families, social workers, education providers, and other professionals.
Follow safeguarding procedures, children's home regulations, and company policies at all times.
Contribute to a safe, structured, and therapeutic home environment.
Participate in the on-call rota and waking night duties where required.
What We're Looking For
Compassionate, enthusiastic, and reliable individuals.
A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
A willingness to work a 2-on, 4-off shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
A full UK driving licence is desirable.
What We Offer
13.00- 14.00 per hour, depending on experience.
2 days on, 4 days off shift pattern, supporting a healthy work-life balance.
60 payment for weekend waking night shifts.
Fully funded Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (NVQ).
Comprehensive induction and ongoing training.
Specialist training in therapeutic childcare approaches.
Excellent opportunities for progression as our organisation grows.
A supportive leadership team committed to your professional development.
The opportunity to help shape a brand-new children's home and make a genuine difference from day one.
Why Join Us?
Our vision is to create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic home where children and young people can recover from past experiences, build positive relationships, and achieve brighter futures.

By joining us at the start of our journey, you'll become part of a close-knit team where your ideas are valued, your development is prioritised, and your career can progress as the organisation grows.

If you're ready to make a real difference and build a rewarding career in children's residential care, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today and help us create a place where every young person has the opportunity to thrive.

Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
