About the Role
You will be supporting adults to live as independently as possible by providing personalised care and promoting choice, dignity, and wellbeing.
Duties may include:
Supporting individuals with daily living tasks
Assisting with personal care (where required)
Encouraging engagement in activities and community participation
Promoting independence and positive outcomes
Working as part of a supportive, professional team
You will work as part of a rota which may include long days, sleeps and/or waking nights.
We are supporting a specialist provider based in Chelsea, London with their permanent recruitment. We are currently looking for a Support Worker to work within a residential setting to provide support to adults with learning disabilities.
This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week paying 13.60 - 13.90 per hour. Previous experience is essential as a Support Worker working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour and our client can promise a nurturing, supportive and fun working environment. If you are already an established Support Worker, our client may be able to offer progression into a Senior Role as and when the time is right.
