The Role

As the Registered Manager and Care Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the operational, financial and regulatory performance of the home.

You'll lead a committed team, inspire excellence, support occupancy growth and ensure the home continues to deliver outstanding care whilst achieving excellent CQC outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As the Registered Manager / Care Home Manager, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day management of the residential care home.
• Deliver exceptional standards of elderly residential care.
• Maintain full CQC compliance and prepare for inspections.
• Lead clinical governance and quality assurance initiatives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement throughout the service.
• Recruit, develop and retain high-performing teams.
• Improve occupancy through excellent relationships and reputation.
• Manage staffing, budgets and financial performance.
• Promote person-centred care and resident wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, commissioners, healthcare professionals and Local Authorities.
• Ensure the home continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the leading care homes on the Isle of Wight.

About You

To be successful as a Registered Manager or Care Home Manager, you'll have:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Care Home Manager, Residential Home Manager, Home Manager or Registered Care Manager.
• Experience managing an elderly residential or nursing care home.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and regulatory compliance.
• Experience improving quality standards and driving service improvement.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing occupancy and budgets.
• Outstanding leadership and people management skills.
• A passion for delivering exceptional person-centred elderly care.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to achieve) is desirable.
