Due to continued growth, we are looking for Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant's to join our thriving private online pharmacy team. The Role
As a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the dispensing process and ensuring patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in line with SOPs, GPhC standards, and legal requirements.
- Label, assemble, and prepare medicines for final accuracy checks by the pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate prescription records, patient information, and dispensing data.
- Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and support effective stock control procedures.
- Respond to patient enquiries via telephone, email, and online messaging in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Assist with prescription processing, order tracking, and dispatch coordination within an online pharmacy setting.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and colleagues to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or Dispensing Assistant qualification.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within a pharmacy, dispensary, or healthcare environment.
- Experience working within an online or mail-order pharmacy.
- Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing and prescription management systems.
- Knowledge of stock control procedures and controlled drugs management.
- Previous customer service or patient-facing experience.
