The Role
You will be supporting Occupational Health Advisers within a fast-paced environment delivering OH assessment services to a wide range of clients from varying industries and sectors. The role requires high levels of professional standard and clinical knowledge whilst having some management experience of managing adherence to KPIs and SLAs. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their operational and commercial understanding whilst continuing to support clinical matters. The main function will be to maintain high clinical standards including completing audits and offering clinical training to the wider team.
You will also be expected to sit a minimum of 10 appointments throughout the week and liaise with clients to assess them clinically and understand how their employers are best placed to support them with their sustained attendance and performance at work, or in returning to work.

In this key role, you provide day-to-day clinical support to our clients' employees and liaise with key customer personnel to ensure the delivery of a high-quality Occupational Health Service.
What you'll be doing:
You will be carrying out independent medical assessments via phone or in person, health surveillance, safety-critical medicals, and biological monitoring. The role includes providing travel health advice, supporting first aiders, and coordinating health promotion and wellbeing initiatives. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining clinical standards, and upholding professional conduct. Ensure all clinical rooms are maintained to the required standard and a log of equipment calibrations is maintained.
What we are looking for:
Previous experience working in Occupational Health is essential for this role coupled with case management and pre-placement questionnaires. You will have experience in health surveillance and safety critical assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required with ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.

You will be based at our clients site near Uxbridge
Hours:
This position is for 2 days a week, with an additional 6 days per annum
Salary:
The salary banding is 37,000 to 43,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Home-based in Swansea
Salary: Up to 45,000 + benefits

Strong experience in sickness absence case management

Excellent clinical decision-making skills
Strong knowledge of clinical governance, confidentiality and relevant legislation
