We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join a supportive residential home setting in the NN4 area.
This is a permanent full-time role offering a salary of 32,000 per year, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional to make a positive difference in the lives of young people with additional support needs.
About the role:
You will be supporting young people within a residential home environment, providing person-centred care and helping them develop independence, confidence, and life skills. The role involves supporting individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, ensuring they receive high-quality care in a safe and nurturing setting.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing tailored support based on each young person's individual needs
Supporting with daily routines, activities, and personal development
Responding positively and safely to challenging behaviours
Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing
Building trusting and meaningful relationships
Working closely with colleagues and other professionals
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
At least 12 months' UK care experience
Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
A caring, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication skills and a commitment to person-centred care
A full UK driving licence is preferred
