Social Worker - Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) - Gloucestershire

Our client, Gloucestershire County Council, is seeking an agency Social Worker for its Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).

This post will last 6 months initially, paid at £35 per hour.

The role will involve the following:

Working in the MASH you will be undertaking screening and triage to inform decisions about the right course of action for a child.
We have a stable management team; the team is a based within a multi-agency hub at Shire Hall in Gloucester, so this allows good opportunity to work with partners.
This role is non case holding but the candidate will need to work under tight timescales. Currently there is NO late night / weekend working.
We have a hybrid working arrangement - home and office based. We are increasing the time spent in the office so currently we ask candidates to be at Shire Hall for 3 days a week.

Requirements of the role:

Qualified Social Worker
Fully Social Work England registered
3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
We are looking for an experienced Social Worker who has a strong understanding of thresholds for intervention and can demonstrate an inquisitive approach to understanding the situations for children and families.
We are looking for someone with a background in frontline work and experience in a MASH environment.
