About the Role

The The Wilf Ward Family Trust is a well-established, values-driven charity, and due to the continued growth of our services, we are expanding our teams across Scarborough. As a result, exciting new Support Worker opportunities have arisen, and we're looking for passionate individuals to join us in supporting people to live happy, independent, and fulfilling lives.

This is a varied and rewarding role. Some days are calm, while others are busy and fast-paced and that variety is what makes the role meaningful and fulfilling.

Shift patterns can include:

  • Day shifts
  • Night shifts
  • Sleep-in shifts
  • Waking night shifts
  • Every other weekend working

What Will Your Day Look Like?

At the heart of everything we do is person-centred support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs. You will:

  • Support individuals to socialise and take part in community activities
  • Provide practical and personal care, including household tasks
  • Support with life skills such as shopping and money management
  • Deliver individualised support plans that promote independence
  • Provide emotional support, encouragement, and reassurance

No Experience Needed

You don't need previous experience we provide full training and ongoing support to help you succeed.
