About the Role

As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will support people with mental health needs and other barriers to employment to achieve their goals and secure sustainable, meaningful work.

You will work closely with individuals to understand their strengths, interests and aspirations, providing tailored support throughout their employment journey. The role combines coaching, employer engagement and partnership working to help clients move into and remain in employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships with clients and provide person-centred support.
• Help clients identify their employment goals, skills and career aspirations.
• Support individuals with CV writing, job searching and interview preparation.
• Develop tailored action plans to help clients overcome barriers to work.
• Work closely with mental health teams and other support services to provide joined-up support.

The role is delivering on two contracts the first is delivering employment support to a range of individuals with Neurodivergent conditions on a 1:1 basis to get them into work and then helping them to thrive in the work environment. You will support individuals at all stages of their journey assisting them in overcoming all barriers. The other contract is focussed on supporting employers to become more neurodivergent friendly. This includes delivering training, workplace assessments and support with retention of staff. The role is home based with travel across North Yorkshire (Such as Harrogate, Darlington and Northallerton) to support your caseloads, meet with employers and attend jobs fairs so driving is essential. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 9 - 5. It is initially a FTC until March 2027with a possibility of extension. An SEMH specialist school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team. About the Role

Working closely with teaching staff, families and therapeutic colleagues, you will play a key role in promoting a communication-supportive environment across the whole school. You will assess, diagnose and support learners' communication needs through a combination of direct intervention, consultation and collaborative working.

You will adopt a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed approach, recognising the important relationship between communication, emotional regulation and behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of pupils with a range of communication needs.
• Carry out holistic, strengths-based assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
• Deliver and evaluate evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy interventions.
• Support learners through individual, group and whole-school approaches.

• Produce high-quality reports and maintain clinical records in line with HCPC and RCSLT standards.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A recognised degree-level qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
