Rotherwood Cares is recruiting experienced Care Assistants to join our agency team, supporting a well-established Extra Care Housing service in Burnley.

About the Role
You'll be supporting adults living independently within their own apartments, helping them maintain their independence while providing high-quality, person-centred care.
No two shifts are the same, and you'll become part of a friendly and supportive care team dedicated to delivering outstanding care.
Your Responsibilities
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect.
- Assisting with washing, dressing and personal hygiene.
- Supporting residents with mobility and safe moving and handling.
- Encouraging independence and promoting choice.
- Assisting with meals, hydration and nutrition.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns.
- Completing accurate care records and documentation.
- Following safeguarding, infection control and health & safety procedures.
- Working collaboratively with the wider care team to deliver exceptional care.
Shift Patterns
We have a variety of flexible shifts available, including:
Day shifts
Night shifts
Weekday shifts
Weekend shifts
Work as little or as often as you like.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant.
- A caring, compassionate and reliable approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to delivering person-centred care.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
Essential Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred) or willingness to obtain one.
- Up-to-date mandatory training or willingness to complete this.
- A positive attitude and passion for supporting others.
