Support Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Support Worker to join an Adults Learning Disability Care Service on an ongoing shift basis.

This role is ad-hoc shift cover with days and waking nights available.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.
Supporting people with personal care, nutrition and medication where required.
Encouraging independence and developing daily living skills.
Supporting individuals to take part in activities both within the service and in the local community.
Building positive relationships with the people you support, their families and professionals.
Completing accurate daily records and reporting any safeguarding concerns.

Requirements:

Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs
Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults
Good communication and teamwork skills
