Role Purpose

As an Optometrist, you will deliver exceptional eye care services while providing a personalised and professional experience for every patient. You will play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards, supporting enhanced services, and contributing to the continued success and growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to the highest professional standards.
  • Deliver tailored recommendations based on patients' visual and lifestyle needs.
  • Detect, manage, and appropriately refer ocular conditions where required.
  • Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment, including OCT, fundus photography, autorefraction, and NCT.
  • Provide outstanding patient care and build long-term patient relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with a highly experienced and supportive team.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure full compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in enhanced referral schemes and collaborative care pathways.
  • Support and engage in continuing professional development and clinical training.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-driven working environment.

Qualifications and Experience Essential

  • GOC-registered Optometrist.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and professional judgement.

  • Interest in additional clinical qualifications such as Independent Prescribing or glaucoma management.
