What You'll Do:- Manage a manageable Child Protection caseload, ensuring all work is focused on improving outcomes for children and young people
- Undertake child protection investigations, assessments, and direct work with families in complex situations
- Develop and implement robust care and safety plans, ensuring timely interventions and effective multi-agency collaboration
- Work closely with schools, health professionals, police, and partner agencies to safeguard and support children
- Prepare and present reports for court proceedings, case conferences, and statutory reviews
- Promote child-centred, strengths-based practice, empowering families to make sustainable changes
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience within a Child Protection, Safeguarding, or similar statutory social work team
- Court experience and confidence in preparing and presenting professional reports
- Social Work England (SWE) registration
- A BSc or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and a genuine passion for protecting vulnerable children.
