Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children's Social Worker to join their Families First Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

Undertake strengths-based assessments and direct work with children and families to support early help and prevent escalation.
Manage a caseload of Children in Need and Child Protection cases, delivering timely and effective interventions.
Build strong working relationships with families to promote safeguarding, resilience, and positive outcomes for children.
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver coordinated, multi-agency support plans.
Maintain high-quality, timely recording and ensure practice complies with statutory guidance and local procedures.
Contribute to reviews, meetings, and planning processes, ensuring the child's voice remains central.
