About The Role

We're looking for a passionate Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at HMP The Mount, supporting individuals on their journey towards recovery, better mental health, and a positive future beyond custody.
This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) offering a starting salary of £24,000. A salary of up to £25,844 may be offered to candidates who can demonstrate relevant experience.
In this rewarding and varied role, you ll deliver person-centred support using both harm reduction and abstinence-based approaches. Working as part of an integrated healthcare team, you ll support individuals experiencing substance misuse issues, low-level mental health needs, and wider health and wellbeing challenges, helping them build resilience and prepare for release back into the community.
