Red Recruitment is recruiting a Patient Booker to begin working immediately in a hospital in Bangor. This is a temporary position with lots of opportunities.

This role will involve you to book appointments for patients, completing a variety of administration duties and ensuring the smooth running of the department.

We are looking for a candidate with proven NHS booking experience, ideally within Endoscopy. However, we would also welcome candidates who have strong booking experience gained either within a hospital setting or a GP practice

Package for a Patient Booker:

Salary: 14.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary
Location: Bangor
Hours: Monday - Friday - 8am - 4pm

Key Responsibilities for a Patient Booker:

Booking patients in for appointments or their transport to and from hospital
Chasing up reports
Inputting patient data
Being the first point of patient contact by answering the phone or email
Ensuring patients appointments are booked correctly and efficiently
Providing up to date information to patients
Completing any administration duties that may be required

Key Skills for a Patient Booker:

You should have a keen eye for detail
Great communication skills including both written and verbal is required
You ideally will be passionate about people and want to help others

Strong administration and booking experience and who worked either in primary or secondary NHS care.
