Use Your Adult Clinical Skills in a Different Way If you re an adult healthcare professional ready to step away from hands-on care and shift work, this role allows you to apply your clinical judgement in a more structured, outcome-focused environment. You ll assess adult claimants, reviewing how physical, mental, and cognitive conditions affect daily living, and produce clear, objective clinical reports.

What You ll Do:
Conduct structured functional assessments via video, telephone and face-to-face consultations
Complete detailed clinical history-taking, exploring physical, mental health and cognitive conditions
Assess functional impact in line with both Work Capability Assessment (WCA) frameworks
For WCA: Evaluate how conditions affect a claimant s capacity for work and work-related activity using functional descriptors
Apply evidence-based clinical reasoning to justify descriptor selection
Produce clear, objective and defensible clinical reports aligned to DWP guidance
Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining clinical accuracy and professional standards
No treatment. No prescribing. No manual handling. This is a specialist clinical assessment role.
Training & Support:
6 12 weeks full-time, paid training
9 Weeks full-time commitment then dropping to chosen to part-time hours.
Dedicated clinical support and ongoing CPD
No annual leave during the first 6 weeks of training
£2,500 Approval Bonus
Bonus Structure upon Approval and completion of training.
