Optometrist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Optometrist to join a forward-thinking optical group in a full-time role, including weekends. This is a unique opportunity for an Optometrist who enjoys variety, clinical excellence, and working with the latest technology. You will operate in a mobile clinical role, supporting multiple practices while delivering exceptional, personalised eye care and helping drive clinical standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive sight tests and full eye examinations
Deliver a wide range of clinical services including emergency eye care, paediatric assessments, and myopia management
Provide tailored clinical recommendations based on individual patient needs
Maintain the highest professional and clinical standards in line with GOC requirements
Work flexibly across multiple practice locations
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new colleagues
Collaborate with branch teams to achieve shared clinical and commercial goals
Monitor performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure all clinical equipment is well maintained and fully operational
Team Development:
Build strong relationships with branch teams and local healthcare stakeholders
Act as a clinical role model, supporting knowledge sharing and best practice
Assist in the introduction of new technology and clinical services
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
About You:
Fully qualified and GOC registered Optometrist
Confident, patient-focused, and clinically driven
Adaptable and comfortable working across different locations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and reassure patients
Passionate about innovation, technology, and continuous professional development
