Vision Express is recruiting a qualified Dispensing Optician to join our Oxford Street flagship store - the largest and most high profile store in the Vision Express estate.
Located in the heart of London's busiest retail destination, this role offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious Dispensing Optician to work with premium eyewear brands including Ray Ban, Oakley and Prada, while delivering outstanding eyecare to a diverse, high footfall customer base. Due to the flagship nature of this store, flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.
As a Dispensing Optician at Vision Express, you will be at the forefront of clinical excellence and customer experience. You'll use your expertise to dispense complex prescriptions, provide tailored eyewear solutions and support the wider store team in delivering market leading care. This role suits a confident Dispensing Optician who thrives in a fast paced retail environment and consistently performs at a high level.
Given the profile of the Oxford Street location, we are also keen to hear from a Dispensing Optician who is open to getting involved in PR activity, brand events and promotional initiatives that showcase Vision Express as a leader in optical retail.
Experience and qualifications
•Hold a recognised UK qualification as a Dispensing Optician
•Be registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
•Have strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
•Be confident communicating with customers, colleagues and stakeholders
•Have experience managing conditions such as myopia or dry eye (desirable)
