Location: Treharris, Merthyr Tydfil (CF46 5HH)

Pay Rate:

PAYE: £13.26 per hour
Umbrella / Limited: £17.15 per hour
Contract Type: Shift-Based / Temporary

Grade 3 Social Care Worker / Care Worker - Shift Work

Ribble Recruitment are currently supporting the sourcing of Grade 3 Social Care Workers / Care Workers for a residential care service in Treharris, Merthyr Tydfil.

This opportunity offers flexible shift-based work, supporting residents within a residential care environment. The role is ideal for experienced care professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting individuals with their daily needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct care and support to residents in accordance with their care plans.
Assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities where required.
Support residents to maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Encourage and assist with social activities and engagement.
Maintain accurate records and care documentation.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and care policies.

Requirements

Previous experience in a health and social care or residential care setting.
Understanding of safeguarding and duty of care responsibilities.
Ability to work flexible shifts including early, late, or weekend shifts where required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A compassionate and professional approach to supporting vulnerable individuals.
