Call Handler / Patient Coordinator

Location: Crawley
Salary: 12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, with at least one Saturday per month

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly and organised Call Handler to join a busy healthcare team in Crawley. This is a customer-focused role where you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent service and ensuring appointments are scheduled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Answering incoming calls from patients in a professional and compassionate manner
Scheduling, amending, and cancelling appointments
Handling patient enquiries and providing accurate information
Updating patient records and maintaining data accuracy
Liaising with healthcare professionals and colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery
Managing a high volume of calls while maintaining excellent customer service standards

About You

Previous experience in a call handling, customer service, or administration role
Excellent communication and telephone manner
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
Good IT skills and experience using appointment booking systems is desirable
Empathetic and patient-focused approach
